Ruby Jean Keathley, 63, of Betsy Layne, died Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at Pikeville Medical Center.


She was born Jan. 26, 1949, in Floyd County, to the late Will and Florence Hall. She is the wife of Elmer Keathley. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ in Pikeville.


She was preceded in death by a son, Elmer “Bo” Keathley, and four brothers and sisters, Ray “Tody” Hall, Orville Tom Hall, Linda May, and Louise Hall and Oliver.


She is survived by a son, Johnny Keathley, of Harold; a daughter, Bobbi Campbell, of Betsy Layne; brothers and sisters, O.C. “Dilbert” Hall, of Grethel, Forrest “Towny” Hall, of Paintsville, Ottis Hall, of Lebanon, Tenn., Phil “Bootie” Hall, of Grethel, Willie “Nicky” Hall Jr., of Grethel, and Shirley Bauer, of Calif.; and two grandchildren, Tara Danielle Campbell and Noah Rylan Keathley.


Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 4, at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, in Martin, with Tommy Spears and others officiating. Burial followed the service at Annie E. Young Cemetery, at Shelbiana.


Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, of Martin, was in charge of arrangements.
