ALLEN - Brandon Kinzer and his No. 18 Brandon Kinzer Motorsports team headed to Boyd’s Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia on Friday evening for a $3,000-to-win Southern Regional Racing Series (SRRS) feature. The dirt track racing veteran was successful in the feature race as he managed to claim a 10th place finish.
Kinzer laid down the fifth-quickest lap overall during the qualifying session. Still, his circuit was only good enough for fourth fastest in his group. After winning his B-Main, Kinzer rolled off from the inside of the fifth row in the 30-lap main event. The Allen native then fought a tight racecar throughout the feature and eventually claimed a 10th place finish.
Kinzer and team are scheduled to compete in the Cotton Pickin 100 at Magnolia (Miss.) Motor Speedway, Oct. 26-27.
