Big Sandy Area Community Action Program has been notified that funding for the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) has been released as of Tuesday, Nov. 13.
If your household has been approved for assistance, your voucher will be forwarded to the appropriate vendor. Wood and coal vendors must contact their respective county service offices to schedule a time to pick up their vouchers.
BSACAP, which operates the program in Floyd, Johnson, Magoffin, Martin, and Pike counties, will continue to accept applications until Dec. 14. If you have not applied for LIHEAP assistance, visit your county service office to do so.
