Gustava Hunt Lewis, 71, of Stanton, formerly of Stanville, widow of Jasper C. Lewis, died Jan. 6, 2013, at Stanton Nursing Home.
Born Feb. 20, 1941, in Floyd County, she was the daughter of the late George Hunt and Eva Colis Newsome Hunt.
She is survived by two sons, Glendale Lewis (Thelma) and Rodney Lewis (Sandra); four daughters, Naomi Adkins (Dean), Cassandra Conn (Dallas), Kimberly Lewis and Michelle Hall (Dennie); seven brothers, Jimmy Hunt, Ronnie Hunt, Leroy Hunt, Bobby Hunt, Donald Hunt, Gregory Hunt and Stevie Hunt; five sisters, Eula Mae Spradlin, Alberta Bevins, Magline Pinson, Goldie Adkins and Helen Hunt; 15 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Lee Hunt.
Funeral services for Gustava Hunt Lewis will be held at 1 p.m., Jan. 8, at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, in Martin, with Mark Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Davidson Memorial Gardens, at Ivel.
Visitation will be held all day Tuesday, at the funeral home.
