Charles Douglas Walker Sr., 66, of Tram, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at Pikeville Medical Center.
He was born June 30, 1946, in Prestonsburg, to the late William Bryd and Beulah Anna Layne Walker. He was a disabled railroad worker.
He was preceded in death by four sisters, Augie Goble, Billie Wills, Anna Ruth Leslie and Frances Branham.
He is survived by two sons, Charles D. Walker Jr. and Kevin Dwayne Walker, both of Tram; a daughter, Melissa Kay Walker, of Tram; two brothers, Darwin Byrd Walker, of Tram, and John Walker, of Prestonsburg; a sister, Edith Mae Meeks, of Betsy Layne; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, in Martin. Burial will follow the service at Tackett Cemetery, at Tram.
