Mary Jane Debord, 77, of Martin, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2013, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center, in Hazard.
She was born Oct. 24, 1935, in Melvin, to the late William Everett and Alberta Little Wright. She was the wife of the late Ivan Debord. Mary was a homemaker and raised in the Old Regular Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia May Debord; a son, Stevie Debord; six brothers, Henry B. Mills Jr., Rex Wright, Torrence Wright, Glennis Ray Wright, Ronald Edward Wright and Wayne Wright; and a sister, Lois Ann Hamilton.
She is survived by her brothers, Chester Mills, of Louisiana, and Gene Mills, of Owensboro; two sisters, Onieda Johnson, of West Virginia, and Billie Mills, of West Virginia; a granddaughter, Jessica Ratliff, of Prestonsburg; two great grandsons, Stevie Spears and Anthony Ratliff, of Prestonsburg; and three special friends, Donna Collins, Trudy Little and Veronica Ward.
Funeral services were held graveside on Tuesday, Jan. 22, at J.H Dingus Cemetery, in Martin, with Bill Collins officiating.
Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, of Martin, was in charge of arrangements.
