The Redbud Trails Program, initiated in 2004 by Congressman Hal Rogers, was established to encourage and promote tourism in Southern and Eastern Kentucky by showcasing the natural beauty of the area, therefore kicking off the tourism season in early spring. Southern and eastern Kentuckians have planted more than 500,000 redbud trees and seedlings since the program began.
TOUR SEKY is an award winning initiative of Congressman Hal Rogers. The organization’s mission is to educate, expand, develop and market the existing and potential tourism industry throughout southern and eastern Kentucky, while contributing to the economic, cultural growth, health and awareness, and overall quality of life of the region.
