Billy Lou Crider II, 49, of Prestonsburg, husband of Danita Gayheart, died Friday, Feb. 3, 2013.
Born Nov. 13, 1963, to Jodi Blackburn and the late Bill Crider Sr., he was a disabled diesel mechanic and member of Benedict Baptist Church, at Slick Rock.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter, Mallory Akers, and her husband, Josh Akers, of Pikeville; a step-daughter, Katie Blackburn; and a brother, H.D. Blackburn.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Melody Crider.
Funeral services for Billy Lou Crider II will be held at noon, Sunday, Feb. 10, at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, in Martin, with Bill Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Ousley Cemetery, in Prestonsburg.
Visitation will be held after 6 p.m., Friday, and all day Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, donations are to be made to Nelson Frazier Funeral Home.
