PRESTONSBURG — Several students improved their belt ranking in February following a regular martial arts test at Family Academy of Martial Arts.
Family Academy of Martial Arts, owned an operated by Mike Gambill, a 7th Degree Black Belt, is a martial arts school specializing in Tae Kwon Do which has operated in the area for more than a dozen years.
On Feb. 16, 10 students test to reach their next belts.
Those who participated in February’s belt test included: Loren Stephens, Kevin Watts, David Chavez, Casey Ferguson, Jack Latta, Benjamin Ferguson, Chyanne Meade , Crystal Allen. All received their next belt rank following the test.
Family Academy of Martial Arts offers classes in self-defense for the whole family, ages 3 years and older.
