PIKEVILLE — A groundbreaking will be held next week, as work begins on a new center aimed at helping Veterans.
According to officials with Mountain Comprehensive Care Center, a groundbreaking ceremony will be held Tuesday, April 2. The ceremony will be for the Homeless Veterans’ Transitional Housing Center, which will be located at 160 Douglas Park Pikeville, at 1:30 p.m.
A short reception will follow at the MCCC greenhouse.
Funding for the new VA Homeless Transitional Housing was secured through VA Homeless Veterans Grant and Per Diem Program, Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati, First Commonwealth Bank and Citizens National Bank.
