Thomas Howard Evans, 67 years and 16 days, of Drift, husband of Oga Mae Evans, died Sunday, March 31, 2013, at Riverview Health Care Center, in Prestonsburg.
Born March 15, 1946, in Middlesboro, to the late Howard and Hassel Smith Evans, he was retired from Ford Motor Company.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Jeffery James Evans, of Evans, Mich.; a daughter, Francis Richardson, of Illinois; three step-sons, Richard C. Ernest, Lewis Combs Jr. and Lantre Combs; three step-daughters, Louella Brown, Joyce Jones and Karina Osborne; a daughter-in-law at heart, Karrie Ernest; a granddaughter, Marisa Richardson; special grandchildren, Annette, Ashley and Josh; and a great grandson, Kamryn.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, in Martin, with Roger Bolen and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Arnold Thornsberry Cemetery, at Kite.
Visitation will be held after 6 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home.
Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, of Martin, is in charge of arrangements.
