In the invitational held in Pikeville at Classic Lanes, Marker finished second in the talented field.

She will join a UPike team that won the Mid-South Conference championship this season. After placing fourth in the NAIA tournament in March, the Bears lost in the national championship of the xbowling Intercollegiate Team Championships in Lincoln, Neb., last weekend.
That event will be shown nationally on the CBS Sports Network on May 17.
