Police looking for Subway robber

ALLEN — Police were called to a restaurant in Allen, Sunday night, after reports of a robbery.

According to Kentucky State Police, troopers received a call Sunday evening of an armed robbery at the Subway restaurant.

Based on information obtained at the scene, troopers say that an employee was attempting to close the business for the evening, when a male subject entered the business. The unidentified male was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, white handkerchief over his face, and a pair of shorts.

The subject also used an undisclosed weapon in the process of the robbery.

According to troopers, the subject took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register before exiting the building through the back door. He then fled the area on foot.

The subject is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall and slender of build. The case remains under investigation by KSP Detective William Petry.
