DAVID — A Floyd County couple found themselves behind bars, Tuesday, after a tip led police to an active methamphetamine lab.
The Kentucky State Police Post 9 Criminal Interdiction Team was following up on information about drug activity at a David residents. Upon arriving at the home of Larry Randell and Glenda Fay Slone, officers allegedly found multiple meth precursors and an active meth lab.
The Slones, of David, were arrested and each charged with manufacture of meth, manufacture of meth possessing precursors, third-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and buying/possessing drug paraphernalia. Glenda Slone was also charged with tampering with physical evidence.
The Slones were lodged in the Floyd County Detention Center.
