ALLEN - The Kinzer Motorsports team traveled south to the Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama on Saturday night (June 22) for the 2nd Annual ‘B.J. Parker Memorial.’ The Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series (SAS) sanctioned the one-day program, which paid $4,200 to the winner. Veteran driver Brandon Kinzer suffered problems during qualifying, but rallied to fifth in his B-Main to earn the 18th starting spot in the 42-lap feature event. Kinzer was then able to move up four positions during the ‘B.J. Parker Memorial’ on his way to a 14th place performance. Complete results from the track deemed as the ‘Hornets Nest’ can be viewed online at www.sasdirt.com.
The Kinzer Motorsports team is scheduled to return to action on Thursday (June 27) in a Southern Regional Racing Series (SRRS) $3,000-to-win feature race at Duck River (Tenn.) Raceway Park.
