MAC Art Gallery presents voice and visions of women of the mountains

PRESTONSBURG — The Mountain Arts Center is displaying the “Mothers Hands” exhibit in the Art Gallery for the month of August.

Mother’s Hands is a collection of short stories written by Sharon Wolfe-Tepsick about her everyday life experiences. Everyone is invited to a reception for the exhibit on Thursday, Aug. 8.

The author and photographers will be on hand to discuss their work and the stories in the book. The illustrations and photography are provided by Sheila Williams-Allen and Barbara Price-Stacy, with Fannie Madden-Grider acting as editor.
