Logan Bank and Trust (LBT) made its annual donation of $10,000 to the Chief Logan Recreation Center, which is located on entrance road approaching Chief Logan Lodge and Conference Center.
The state-of-the-art facility features an aquatic center with Olympic-style 25-meter, eight-lane competition swimming pool; climate controlled fitness center; professional sports shop with equipment and accessories; multi-purpose areas for indoor soccer, volleyball, and basketball; three indoor tennis courts; elevated walking track; and locker rooms with amenities, showers and daily-use lockers.
Center Director Terry Mullins says the center is a 501-3c, non-profit facility and donations like this are essential to the center’s success.
“We appreciate the support from local businesses and individuals who make donations like this. That’s why we are able to keep our membership fees so low,” said Mullins.
Logan Bank and Trust President Eddie Canterbury said, “We are trying to do whatever we can to support the health and well being of people in Logan County and we believe this is a good way to do it.”
