Floyd Modified drivers headed to Dirt Track World Championship

Floyd County will be well-represented in the Dirt Track World Championship later in the week. Floyd County Modified drivers Josh Stumbo Jeremy Hayes, Justin Jacobs and Kevin Hall are set to make the trip to Portsmouth Raceway Park in Ohio for the Dirt Track World Championship.

The 33rd Annual Red Buck Dirt Track World Championship presented by Borrowed Blue will be held Thursday through Saturday at Portsmouth Raceway Park.

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series finale will pay $50,000-to-win for the Super Late Models.

The Lemley Motorsports Modified Feature will pay $3,000-to-win. The Floyd County drivers will be vying for the top prize in the Modified feature.

The DirtonDirt.com Jim Dunn Memorial Non-Qualifiers Race for Super Late Models will pay $3,000-to-win. A purse totaling $200,000 will be paid out during the event.
