PIKEVILLE – Summit Engineering Inc., a consulting engineering, architecture, and surveying company, announced Monday that the firm is opening a new office in Henderson, to better meet the needs of clients in western Kentucky, southern Indiana, and Illinois.
Plans to develop operations in Henderson were initiated by the demand for services to support the expanding energy sector in the region. The new office will be Summit’s seventh office. Summit will offer its clients services in the area of engineering, architecture, and surveying. The new office will be located at 1970 Barrett Court, in Henderson, and is planned to open Nov. 1.
“The opening of Summit Engineering’s new Henderson Office is an important step towards realizing our goal to provide services to our clients in that area,” said Philip Elswick, President of Summit Engineering. “I am extremely pleased to be expanding to better serve our clients,” said Elswick. “In the months ahead, we will be announcing additional efforts to continue the growth of Summit Engineering, and I am very optimistic in the company’s upcoming endeavors. The board has set the strategic direction for the company, and we are taking the necessary steps to strengthen the company for the future.”
