PIPPA PASSES - This week’s Alice Lloyd College Female Athlete of the Week is junior Ariel Nickell. The highly-talented forward has also been named the KIAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
During the week, Nickell averaged 28 points and 11.5 rebounds. She also scored career-high 38 points and pulled down 15 rebounds against Martin Methodist. In the Lady Eagles’ last game versus Milligan College, Nickell once again led the way with 26 points and 14 rebounds.
With Nickell leading the way, ALC is off to a 2-2 start.
