Stanville Dollar General robbed

STANVILLE — A Dollar General Store was the target of an armed robbery last week.

According to Kentucky State Police, Post 9 received a call reporting the robbery shortly after 9 p.m., Thursday.

Officers at the scene learned that an unidentified person enter the business with a weapon, demanding money. The thief then fled the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured during the incident.

The robbery remains under investigation by KSP Det. Kevin Newsome.

They know how much money was took , why do they lie about it!!! They will say more than was taken later on down the line i bet!!!! my opinion!!!!~!~
