Claude Ray Gilliam, 46, of Wheelwright, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at his residence.

He was born Feb. 26, 1966, to Marie Newsome Gilliam Cantrell, of Minnie, and the late Raymond Gilliam. His stepfather is Bill Cantrell. He was the husband of Crystal Hall Gilliam. Claude was a disabled auto body man.

He was preceded in death by his two children, Claude Everette Gilliam and Sheena Lynn Gilliam.

He is survived by his brothers, Earnie (Billie Lou) Gilliam, of Wheelwright, and Johnny (Edna) Gilliam, of Wheelwright; sisters, Martha (Marlee) Sammons, of Wheelwright, Kathy (Hugh) Hall, of McDowell, and Katrina (Joe) Hall, of Wheelwright; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at noon, Friday, Nov. 30, at Joppa Old Regular Baptist Church, at Melvin. Burial will follow the service at Gilliam Cemetery, in Wheelwright.
