Ricky Sturgill, 57, of Harold, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 6, 1955, to Mary Akers Bautista and the late Arnold B. Sturgill. His stepmother was Donna Sturgill and his stepfather was Harold James. Ricky was a disabled truck driver.
He is survived by two step-sons, Adam and Shawn; two step-daughters, Cassandra and Emily; two brothers, Mike Sturgill and Arnold Sturgill; two sisters, Sharon Smith and Karen Waugh; several step-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 4, at Harold Church of Christ, at Harold, with Tommy Bush officiating. Burial followed the service at Davidson Memorial Gardens, at Ivel.
Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, of Martin, was in charge of arrangements.
