PIKEVILLE - The All-District and Honorable Mention selections in Class A, District 8 have been been announced. The top players from district members Pikeville, South Floyd, Allen Central and Phelps make up the selections.
Pikeville ended the 2012 season as the champion in Class A, District 8. South Floyd finished as the district’s runner-up.
The All-District and Honorable Mention selections follow.
All-District
Pikeville: Chase Hall, Cody Estep, Gage Morrison, Caleb Campoy, Austin Black, Jake Burke, Ben Maynard.
South Floyd: Weston Little, Blake Dye, Jimmy Helton, Austin Johnson, Mack Little, Blaine Little.
Allen Central: Cameron Hamilton, A.J. Beverly, Odie Walker, Austin Hall, Zach Murphy.
Phelps: Zack Avina, Chris Stump, Ricky Adams, Calvin Gearles.
Honorable-Mention
Pikeville: Austin Charles, Wyatt Branham, Conner Park, Logan Coleman, Nathan Gutierrez.
South Floyd: Brady Johnson, Cory Thornsberry, Jarrett Little, Jacob Crager, Brett Daniels, Dwayne Day.
