Jerry Lewis, age 62, of Stanville, husband of Doris Jean Lewis, passed away Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at his residence.

He was born May 17, 1950, at Banner, a son of the late Frederick Charles and Gertrude Osborne Lewis. He was a retired track press operator at Brandeis Machinery and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, Jerry is survived by a son, Mark (Brenda) Hunt, of Westland, Mich.; three daughters, Michelle Leigh (William “Bub”) Boyd, Kimberly Dawn (Brandon) Hall, and Donna Lynn (Scott) Reed, all of Banner; five brothers, Danny Lewis, Roger Lewis, Jimmy Dale Lewis and Jeff Lewis, all of West Liberty, and Earnest Lewis, of Prestonsburg; a sister, Ruby Jean Lewis, of Stout, Ohio; 14 grandchildren, Ashley, Amy, Ryan, Tyler, Brady, Gracie, Stacy, Chris, Austin, Sara, Stevie, Kenzie, Logan and April; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Tammy Hunt; and a brother, Ralph Lewis.

Funeral services for Jerry Lewis will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 23, in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, in Martin, with Mark Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, at Ivel.
