The Prestonsburg High School Dance Cats were crowned Champions for the fourth consecutive time Saturday and now get ready to move onto the state level competition.

The Prestonsburg High School Dance Cats also placed first in Pom, Jazz, and Hip Hop divisions in the Small Varsity Category as well as for winning the overall 15th Region Grand Championship for the fourth consecutive year.

“Congratulations to the Prestonsburg High Dance Team,” said Floyd County Superintendent Henry Webb. “Winning a regional competition is a great achievement and doing so four consecutive years speaks to the dedication and hard work of this team and coach. The board members and I wish them good luck at state.”

The PHS Dance Cats hope to bring home their third state title from the Kentucky Dance Coach Organization’s state competition in Frankfort, Kentucky on Feb. 23.
