Peggy Lynn Turner, age 57, of Garrett, wife of Denzil Turner, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Pikeville Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 5, 1955, at Lackey, a daughter of the late Charles and Aileen Hughes Howard. She was a special needs aide at Duff Elementary and a member of the Martin Branch Freewill Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, Denzil, she is survived by a son, Steve (Nicole) Turner, of Garrett; a daughter, Amy (Jamie) May, of Valdosta, Ga.; three brothers, Mike (Gwen) Howard, of Hueysville, Kenneth (Darlene) Howard, of Garrett, and Steven Howard, of Garrett; two sisters, Donna (Chris) Bradley, of Prestonsburg, and Tina (Ray) Salyer, of Staffordsville; three grandchildren, Zachary, MaKenzi and Trey Turner; and two special friends, Sheila Whitaker and Debby Samons.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Terry Howard.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 5, in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, in Martin, with Willie Duff and Ricky Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Harry Lee Moore Cemetery, at Garrett.
