INEZ - The Wesley Christian School archery program competed in the NASP Region 13 Tournament in late-February, claiming first-place in the Elementary Team division. The Wesley Christian School elementary team and individual winners in the Region advance on to the NASP Kentucky State Tournament, which will be held March 18-19 in Louisville. The Wesley Christian School archery program is under the direction of coach Dr. Lee Boyd and assistant coaches Roger Barnette and James Sword.
A breakdown of the top finishers for the Wesley Christian School elementary team follows.
Fourth grade: 1st place - Hannah Jarrell; 2nd place - Payton Corbett; 3rd place - Will Lemaster; 5th place - Seth Morrison.
Fifth Grade: 1st place - Addisson Barnette; 3rd place - Allison Akers; 4th place - Lottie Maynard.
Sixth Grade - 1st Place Lydia Goff; 3rd Place - Savannah Jarrell.
In the boys’ high school division, David Stratton finished fifth.
