PRESTONSBURG — During the March meeting of Communities Against Drug Addiction, those who attend will get a grim reminder of the eventual toll drug abuse causes if left unchecked.
Coroner Greg Nelson would be the guest speaker at Tuesday’s meeting. CADA member Leslie Howell said Wednesday that Nelson plans to speak about drug overdose death statistics during the meeting.
CADA meets at noon the third Tuesday of each month on the third floor of the Floyd County Health Department. Meetings generally last about an hour and a free lunch is offered to all who attend.
