LOUISA - The Alice Lloyd College baseball program, under the direction of Head Coach Scott Cornett and Assistant Coach Jason Stowers, has announced the signing of Lawrence County High School senior pitcher Ryan Kingsmore to an athletic letter of intent for next season. Stowers traveled to Louisa on Friday and returned to Pippa Passes with the fresh signature of the Lawrence County starting pitcher.

“Ryan is a great addition to this team,” Stowers said. “He brings tremendous athleticism, as well as speed, to the Eagles lineup.”

Kingsmore is the brother of Dustin Kingsmore, a former Alice Lloyd College player who was known for his versatility in the infield. Dustin Kingsmore graduated from Alice Lloyd last year.

Ryan Kingsmore helps to lead a Lawrence County baseball team that is a contender for the 2013 15th Region title.
