PIPPA PASSES - The Alice Lloyd College volleyball program has announced the signing of Lawrence County High School senior Merissa Bowman to an athletic letter of intent for the 2013 season. The talented setter is expected to be an exciting addition to ALC’s burgeoning squad.
ALC Head Coach Jolene Watts traveled to Louisa on Friday and obtained Bowman‘s signature.
“Merissa‘s versatility as a player and her ability to play numerous positions will be a tremendous asset to our program,” Watts said. “We expect great things from her and our team. We’re eager to start the season!”
Alice Lloyd College is home to one of the newest volleyball programs in NAIA.
