PIKEVILLE – From the creator of CBS’s Extant and JWT’s productions of “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”, “Frankenstein” and Bram Stoker’s “Dracula” comes “Ghost Stories”.

Ellie Reader, an internet blogger on Paranormal Activity, known as “Ghost Girl”, has spent years of her life trying to prove the existence of ghosts. When she and her team investigate the abandoned home of Mary Worth, better known as the urban legend “Bloody Mary”, they discover something that could change the world, if they just make it out alive!”

Audiences have come to anticipate JWT’s spine-tingling fall productions which always arrive just in time for the Halloween season. Playwright Mickey Fisher has creatively woven the legend of “Bloody Mary” into a modern day ghost hunt. Much like the blockbuster movie, “Paranormal Activity”, Mickey Fisher’s “Ghost Stories” is sure to get more than a few “vocal” reactions from the audience.

Make plans to be at Jenny Wiley Theatre in downtown Pikeville this week when the show opens this Thursday Night at 7:30 PM. Executive Director, Martin Childers said “The last time JWT produced “Ghost Stories” we sold over 5,000 tickets and we expect capacity sales again this time. Don’t wait till the end of the run to reserve your tickets.” For ticket information visit www.jwtheatre.com or call 877-CALL-JWT. School Matinees are not available online and must be booked by calling 877-CALL-JWT. A complete teacher’s guide for classroom instruction if available for “Ghost Stories”.
