PRESTONSBURG – Passport Health Plan will hold a “Trick or Treat Meet and Greet” with NASCAR driver Ben Rhodes, the Kentucky native who drives the number 88 Alpha Energy Solutions Chevrolet, on Saturday, Oct. 31 in Prestonsburg.
The event will be held from noon to 3 p.m. outside the Passport Health Plan office in the Prestonsburg Village Shopping Center, near Big Lots, Goodwill and Wal-Mart.
Kids (and adults) are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes to get an autograph and a picture with Rhodes, along with some special Halloween treats.
“Passport’s mission is to improve the health and quality of life for our members and to help all Kentuckians live healthier lives,” said Passport Health Plan CEO Mark B. Carter. “Ben stays in top physical condition to be successful on the track. He is a wonderful role model for all of us.”
Rhodes is part of the JR Motorsports (JRM) organization, which cultivates young drivers on the path to NASCAR success. JRM is co-owned by NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Dale Earnhardt Jr., his sister Kelley Earnhardt Miller, and Rick Hendrick. He has competed in nine XFINITY races in 2015, with his 10th and final race of the season coming on Saturday, November 14, in Miami.
