Floyd County Schools announces results from KAAC JV Challenge

PRESTONSBURG Floyd County Superintendent Henry Webb has announced the results for Floyd County teams and students who competed in the Kentucky Association for Academic Competition’s JV Challenge. This competition included Allen Central High School, Betsy Layne High School, Prestonsburg High School, South Floyd High School, Johnson Central High School, Lawrence County High School and Paintsville High School.

“We’re very proud of our 9th and 10th grade students who placed in this sectional competition and we encourage everyone to attend an academic meet,” Webb said. “You’ll be amazed at the knowledge, strategy and competitiveness that these kids exhibit in a quick recall match. We’d also like to thank everyone for the support they continue to give to our kids, whether it’s academics, athletics, the arts, or other events, we appreciate your support of our kids.”
