UPIKE students inducted into business honor society

PIKEVILLE – The University of Pikeville-Coleman College of Business inducted its 14th class into the Sigma Beta Delta international honor society for business, management and administration.

Sigma Beta Delta is an international honor society for students majoring in business and awards lifetime membership. Students in the top 20 percent of their junior or senior class are invited for membership. The induction ceremony was led by Pamela Gilliam, Ed.D., associate professor of business and Sigma Beta Delta advisor. Attendees were welcomed by Howard V. Roberts, Ed.D., dean and professor, Coleman College of Business.

New Sigma Beta Delta members include Kaitlyn Abdon and Nicole Howe of Florence; James Brooks of London; Paulina Ruiz of Novi, Mich.; Victoria Jude of River; Nicolas Rodenbusch of Simmern, Germany; Rick Bentley, instructor of sports management, Katelyn Simpson of Emmett, Idaho; Jarred Thacker of Shelbiana; Jesse Coleman of Raccoon; and Enrico Marino of Lecherias Anzoalegui, Venezuela.
