Big Sandy Singers and Band hold Christmas Concert

Whitley Bartley, Beth Runyon, Lindsey Russell, Abigail Stanley, Ayngelea Stevens, Rebecca Risner and Jerica Grim performed holiday classics during the Big Sandy Singers and Band’s annual Christmas Concert on Tuesday, December 15 at the U.S. 23 Country Music Highway Museum.

PAINTSVILLE – The Big Sandy Singers and Band held its annual Christmas Concert at the U.S. 23 Country Music Highway Museum on Tuesday, December 15.

Maranda Finney, the 2015 Big Sandy Idol Regional Competition winner, also performed.

The Big Sandy Singers and Band are an elite group of vocalists and musicians comprised of students from Big Sandy Community and Technical College (BSCTC). Proceeds from the concert benefited the Big Sandy Singers and Band scholarship at the college.

“Christmas is a special time of year and Christmas music is always something fun to celebrate and share,” said Clayton Case, director of Fine Arts at BSCTC. “This is an opportunity for our group to spread some holiday cheer with our supporters.”
