Instructor Jennifer Bersaglia’s avec Performing Arts Studio opening at MAC

PRESTONSBURG – Arts education instructor Jennifer Bersaglia will be housing her “avec” studio at the Mountain Arts Center starting Monday August 15. It is the creative project of Jennifer and Scott Bersaglia. Included is over 40 years of industry knowledge.

The avec studio will be offering a multitude of Piano classes, ranging from Intro to Piano, to Piano I and Piano II, and also Piano for Singers. Bersaglia has designed a “Piano Lab” that is housed at the Mountain Arts Center that is newly constructed this summer. These piano classes are designed for all kids of all ages, ranging from Kindergarten to 12th grade. Other classes that will be offered include Broadway Kidz and Curtain Call.

The studio has a history of achievement with students receiving a total of more than $350,000 in scholarships, summer program acceptances, and recording contracts, among other awards.

“We pride ourselves in creating lifelong musicians and artists,” Bersaglia states, “Whether professional or hobbyists, so they can stay in their discipline long after the study is complete.

Some of the distinguished alumni that has come through Bersaglia’s studio include national touring musicians Kory Caudill and Nick Jamerson. Current Kentucky Opry member and Belmont University student Hayley Sullivan is an
