PRESTONSBURG – Big Sandy Community and Technical College (BSCTC) will host a series of Town Hall Meetings the first week of April.
The meetings are intended to introduce the college and its services to the community. Members of the college’s admission, financial aid, career/technical education, transfer education and workforce solutions team will be on hand to provide information and answer any questions from visitors.
“We have uniquely scheduled these meetings throughout our service area in an effort to take the college off our campuses and in the communities we serve,” said Joshua Ball, director of strategic communications at BSCTC. “It is important that we remain engaged with the communities we serve and inform them as to why we are the first choice in higher education in our service area.”
The meetings will be held:
Monday, April 3, 2 p.m.-4:30 p.m., Pike County Library, 119 West River Drive, Pikeville;
Tuesday, April 4, 5 p.m.-7:30 p.m., Johnson County Library, 444 Main Street, Paintsville;
