BANNER – Three men, two of whom are residents of Michigan, are now facing multiple drug charges following a search warrant executed by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Department that turned up a large amount of drugs and cash at a Banner residence this past week.
Arrested following the search were Robert Stark, of Adrian, Mich., John Thomas Xirasakis, also of Adrian, Mich., and Banner resident Jarrod Kidd.
Floyd County Sheriff John Hunt said the search warrants were obtained as a result of evidence and statements over the past two weeks concerning stolen property and illegal drug dealing at the Banner residence.
Recovered during the arrests was a substantial amount of oxycodone and Neurotins, along with marijuana. Also seized was nearly $900 in cash along with a 1995 Jaguar belonging to Stark.
Stark was charged with first-degree trafficking a controlled substance and possession of marijuana, Xirasakis was also charged with first-degree trafficking a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
Kidd was charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and for having a controlled substance not in the original container.
The case remains under investigation by Hunt and Deputies Justin Cooley and Dusty Newsome. Additional charges will be added pending the investigation, Hunt said, as he believes Stark and Xirasakis may prove to be a main provider of drugs to the area.
