PAINTSVILLE – Big Sandy Community and Technical College (BSCTC) and its Workforce Solutions division will offer a woodworking class from August 25 through December 8 on its Mayo campus. The class will meet each Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the carpentry lab located in Building D. Students are required to bring their own building materials but will have access to the carpentry equipment and teaching from the instructor. “This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn about carpentry or needs some assistance on a particular project,” said Kelli Hall, director of Workforce Solutions at BSCTC. “Students will have access to great instruction and state-of-the art equipment.” For more information, contact Willie Owens at (606) 788-2921 or email: wowens0001@kctcs.edu.
