PRESTONSBURG – “I love Boston,” Jack Endicott, one of three elders from Prestonsburg HealthCare who went on vacation to Boston August 22-26, said. Along with Endiocott were Opal Gibson and Frank Whitt. The trio flew out of Louisville and made their way to Boston.

During their time in Boston, the Prestonsburg residents had the opportunity to visit many historic and fun-filled places. At beautiful Fenway Park, the trio watched the beloved Red Sox and enjoyed all the ballpark food they could eat. They took a pleasant ferry ride across historic Boston Harbor with lunch at WahlBurgers Restaurant as seen on the A&E Show Wahlburgers. The group, which consisted of elders and stakeholders from five different homes, toured downtown Boston and visited the 75,000 square foot New England Aquarium. The highlight for some was having dinner at the diner made famous on the hit TV show “Cheers.”

The trio of elders that went all said it was the time of their lives and resulted in memories they will never forget.
