MARTIN — Saint Joseph Martin, part of KentuckyOne Health, will help local senior citizens take control of their health and wellness at the 10th annual Senior Health Fest on Thursday, Sept. 24.
The free event takes place from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Graceway United Methodist Church, located at 8410 Kentucky 80 in Langley.
The Senior Health Fest will offer a number of health screenings specifically designed for those age 55 and older. Free flu shots, lunch and entertainment will be provided to attendees.
“Our Senior Health Fest is a very popular community event and it’s a great way for us to help our community get access to free health screenings and information,” said Kathy Stumbo, president of Saint Joseph Martin. “Our mission is to bring wellness, healing and hope to all, including the underserved. This event is one way that we support that mission.”
A number of local vendors will also have a presence at the event showcasing products and services of interest to older adults.
