KSP investigating store robbery

PRESTONSBURG – In the evening hours on Sunday, Kentucky State Police Post 9 received a 911 call of a robbery at the Parkway Convenience Store. Troopers responded to the scene and determined that four unidentified subjects entered the business demanding money. While at gunpoint, employees of the store retrieved an undisclosed amount of money. After receiving the money, the four individuals fled the scene on foot.

The initial investigation at the scene indicates that all four subjects were wearing dark clothing and masks.

KSP Detective Christopher Phillips is conducting an ongoing investigation of the robbery.
