Freshwater: The Story of Nancy McCoy set to open at JWT

PIKEVILLE – Jenny Wiley Theatre will present the third installment of Michael Ross Albert’s FEUD series, Freshwater: The Story of Nancy McCoy, directed by Kim Willard, at JWT’s Pikeville location. The production will run regular performances from September 24-October 2, with a special dinner performance scheduled for October 3. The production’s opening weekend coincides with the Hatfield-McCoy Heritage Days celebration in Pike County.

To save an innocent man from execution, a Pike County’s deputy sheriff must discover the whereabouts of a wanted murderer. But only one person knows where he’s hiding: his wife. As the feud between the Hatfields and McCoys comes to an end, one woman must choose between saving an innocent man and saving her family.

All regular evening performances begin at 7:30 p.m. A public matinee is available at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 27. The October 3 dinner performance will have doors open at 6:15 p.m., Dinner at 6:30 p.m., and show time at 7:30 p.m. School matinees are available upon request.

Ticket prices for advance sales will be $25 for Adults, $22.00 for Seniors, and $14 for Youth (17 and under). Ticket prices at the door will be $26.00 for Adults, $23 for Seniors, and $15.00 for Youth (17 and Under).
