PRESTONSBURG – Five individuals are in custody charged with committing armed robbery at a Floyd County Convenience Store.
Kentucky State Police and the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office continue to investigate the robbery of a Floyd County Convenience Store located on KY Rt 114 near the Magoffin County line on Sunday, Sept. 13. At this time, five individuals are in custody and have been criminally charged for the crime.
Three of the accused are adults and are currently lodged in the Floyd County Jail. Two of the five individuals are juveniles and have been placed in the juvenile detention center.
The three adults charged with the crime are Lawrence P. Junior (Van Lear), Robbery 1st Degree; Easton Casey (Prestonsburg), Complicity to Commit Robbery 1st Degree; and Joshua Crider (Prestonsburg) Robbery 1st Degree,
The names of the two juveniles will not be released.
The incident is still under investigation.
