PRESTONSBURG – Elevate Church, a nondenominational church located in Prestonsburg, hosted an Easter egg hunt at Big Sandy Community and Technical College on Saturday. Hundreds of children came out to participate in the fun.

“I had a great time at the Easter Egg Hunt,” said Tammy Stone of Grethel. “We took our granddaughter and they had so many great prizes and everyone was in a great mood.”

The egg hunt was geared toward elementary aged and younger. Numerous prizes were up for grabs. Bicycles, gift cards, Easter baskets and a tablet were enough to get the older kids wanting in on this Easter egg hunt.

Children were divided into age groups so all children had a chance at getting eggs and winning prizes. Older kids and parents were not forgotten as hot dogs and desserts were served.

BJ Blackburn serves as pastor at Eleveate Church.
