PRESTONSBURG – Prestonsburg and Allen firefighters responded to the scene of a fire at Jenny Wiley State Resort Park on Tuesday night.

Park officials say the fire was in the May Lodge where the reservation desk and dining room is located. All lodge rooms were evacuated in the main building. There were no injuries to park guest or employees.

Investigators were at the May Lodge early Wednesday to determine how the fire got started. Park officials had the road to the May Lodge blocked off from traffic while investigators were on the scene.
