City of Martin Emergency Management Director Kristopher C. Rudder was arrested along Beaver Valley Road on Monday night.


MARTIN – Kentucky State Police arrested City of Martin Emergency Management Director Kristopher C. Rudder along Beaver Valley Road on Monday night.

Kentucky State Police Officer Darvin Marsillett wrote in the arrest citation that Rudder was driving a car believed to be used in a drug buy.

The citation also state that during questioning, Rudder admitted to taking a man to buy drugs.

Marsillett wrote that he found a white pill in the vehicle during a search.

Rudder, who was arrested on another offense around six months ago, faces multiple drug and failure to wear seat belt charges. The City of Martin official pleaded guilty in a DUI case in October.
