ALLEN– The country music duo Halfway to Hazard is set to perform at Seasons Inn on Friday night.

Halfway To Hazard, a duo consisting of Eastern Kentuckty natives Chad Warrix and David Tolliver – announced a series of local stops including Seasons Inn – to promote their comeback in country music and the start of their Redemption Tour.

The duo rose to fame after signing to a record deal with Mercury Records, thanks to the help from their long-time supporter Tim McGraw and a passionate national fan base. In 2007, they celebrated their hit single “Daisy” and performed on Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s Soul2Soul II tour, which served as the backdrop for their music video for Countrified (featuring McGraw) followed by the Live your Voice Tour with McGraw and Jason Aldean.

After a multi-year career break paved with personal struggles and convictions, the duo closed the book on their dreams. However coercion from fans and believers inspired the duo to reunite in 2015.

Halfway To Hazard will be playing multiple shows, charity events and collaborating in the studio working on the third studio album. They released a new single, “Heaven on Down the Highway” in September 2015 and the song proved to mark their official comeback in country music.

“I am looking forward to going to the concert with my friend Faye Hall,” said Kathy Newsome of Grethel. “It isn’t often we get to get out and enjoy ourselves because of family obligations. We have decided we like Halfway to Hazard and we are looking forward to meeting the guys.”

Tickets can be purchased for $10 at Seasons Inn or by calling (606)874-2770.
