ELKHORN CITY – Seussical: the Musical, Jr., by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, is set to run in its final weekend at the Artists Collaborative Theatre in Elkhorn City.
Imagination is everything and anything is possible as everyone follows Horton the Elephant on his mission to save the Whos of Whoville, a tiny civilization living on a speck of dust. Love-struck Gertrude McFuzz, a bird with one feather for a tail helps Horton on his adventure. Horton also runs into many foes who would rather commit him to an asylum than believe for a moment that his discovery is real. The Wickersham Brother monkeys, Sour Kangaroo, Vlad Vladikoff the vulture, and others threaten to keep Horton from saving the Whos. Will they succeed, leaving the nearly invisible Whos to parish, or will Horton prevail and save the day?
